Production management
MCA Watch allows you to plan and control all production processes, with finite or infinite capacity, early or late planning modes.
You plan and schedule the various stages of production by checking the availability of raw materials and products, staff capacities and machines according to the workload and deadlines to be met.
Subcontracting operations are integrated into the production process, with the planning, dispatch and follow-up of subcontractor orders.
The MRP module accurately manages material, component, labour and machine resources to maximise their use while minimising costs.
It calculates the quantity of raw materials and materials needed to produce your next orders as well as the actual production costs according to your bills of material and operations.
MCA Watch also includes the management of customer and supplier weights and balances, and allows for the calculation of the cost price taking into account the exchange rate and the market price for precious materials.
You monitor the progress of production in the production schedule with an overview of current activities, deadlines, the quantity of materials and components consumed and the capacity situation.
Alerts can be created to warn you, for example, of missing components for an operation or missed deadlines.

Technical data management
MCA Watch manages all the technical data for products manufactured or purchased, allowing you to create your own product sheets and insert technical data for items such as designation, description, unit of measure, product category, production range and commercial and logistical data.
The product sheet allows you to consult various information relating to a product such as stock status, batches or supplier prices.
Bills of material (single and multi-level) and manufacturing and assembly ranges are also supported by the software.
MCA Watch can be connected to your CAD/CAM or other software to enable the communication of information between the two programs. This allows MCA Watch to retrieve technical data or BOMs from CAD/CAM software to align product design with manufacture.
Cost management
MCA Watch includes job/project management: the software groups all the information concerning a job or project (orders, material consumption, documentation, planned and completed hours, costs, etc.) to simplify administration and monitoring.
The Financial Project module allows you to monitor in real time the costs and revenues (realised and committed) related to a business or project.
The different costs (materials, subcontractors, labour, etc.) are visible in a financial table, which allows you to compare the actual costs with the forecasted costs and the initial budget while evaluating your margin and break-even point. You are also able to control the evolution of the cost price.
Project reports allow you to carry out a budgetary control in order to detect points of improvement to be taken into account when planning future projects, but also to compare the profitability of two different projects.
Purchasing and stock management
You administer the calls for tender for the selection of your suppliers and manage your supplier purchases by incorporating the various rules set (quantities, rates applied, transport and replenishment times, etc.).
Stock management allows you to control the status and movement of stocks by taking into account batch or serial numbers or other characteristics.
The MRP module ensures supply by minimising the risk of stock-outs and overstocking.
You manage procurement according to stock levels and material requirements, monitoring supplier orders, deliveries and supplier invoice payments. Order points can be defined to avoid stock-outs.
Supplier records are updated with each new transaction to provide you with a complete history.
